Asian Historical Statistics, Volume 3: China

This database provides annual time-series economic statistics spanning the period from 1912 to 2020 for the area effectively governed by the People's Republic of China as of 2013 (i.e., excluding Taiwan, Hong Kong S.A.R., and Macau S.A.R.). The statistics were compiled, processed, and estimated in line with the System of National Accounts (SNA).
Minimal necessary explanations of the contents and characteristics of individual statistics in the database, as well as points to note regarding their use, are provided in Ryoshin Minami and Fumio Makino (eds.), "Asian Historical Statistics, Volume 3: China" (Toyo Keizai Shinposha, Inc., 2014 ) .
