Asian Historical Statistics, Volume 4: Korea

The following time-series statistics presented here provide annual macro-economic, population and labor force statistics for Korea, covering the approximately 100 years from the 1910's through the 2010's. The original data were collected and presented here in the form of database, after having been examined, corrected and/or estimated when necessary, processed, and organized with utmost scientific care.
For the details of the compilation methods and interpretation of the statistical series, the readers are cordially invited to refer to Toshiyuki Mizoguchi, Hak Kil Pyo and Ho-il Moon, editors, in collaboration with Yasuhiro Hara, Chōki keizai tōkei 4, Kankoku, Kita-chōsen (Asian historical statistics 4: Korea), Tokyo: Tōyō Keizai Shimpōsha, 2019; in Japanese with English abstracts.
